Halloween '07 Notice
This site is officially deprecated. All new content is being posted at
http://honeypot.net/ instead. However, I'm keeping this online as an archive until all content that actually gets hits is migrated to the new site. I'm also providing redirects from these pages to their new locations so that old links will keep working.
Today is kind of sad for me. I registered
my account on March 29, 2001, so I've been randomly updating bits here and there for over 6 years. Whole subprojects have come and gone, friends have dropped in, and waves of spammers were vanquished, but little Subwiki kept chugging along happily through it all.
It was a good run, but it's time to move on. I'll miss it.
The Spammers Have Won (For Now)
As of February 11, 2006, I've had to restrict posting from anonymous users. I hate
hate HATE that, but I only have so many hours per week to clean out crap from spammers and Googlebombers.
I'll keep looking for a better alternative, but I'm feeling pretty defeated right about now.
Why, thank you! Hello to you too!
Yeah. Hi! (Hmm...Wiki is SOOO cool!) =]
New /. poll:
Why did you click on the link to subwiki.honeypot.net?
- Wanted to contact Wiki owner for Job...
- Sheer boredom
- Wanted to know why there was a wiki underneath honeypot.net
- Thought it had something to do with Pooh the bear
- CowboyNeal made me do it
- Thought there would be free tacos
- Searching for pr0n
- Was hoping that you had posted details on your Postfix ruleset for filtering spam (hint: they're at FilterMailWithPostFix)
- This is a tech test. Had this been an actual emergency you would have been instructed to kiss your b_tt goodbye. Just read about wikis, researching. Very cool!
- Wanted to know what was the difference between a Wiki and a Subwiki...
Welcome to Subwiki!
This is a Wiki site. It is not a
normal web site, in that you are free to edit these pages.
If none of this makes sense to you, be sure to check out
WebHomeBeginners for a lot of introductory and background information.
Subwiki is a project started by
KirkStrauser to replace the now-defunct
AttentionDeficitInformationTechnologies? website at
http://adit.honeypot.net/ . That project was a bust. All of the would-be contributors were too lazy to add anything, so I'm going to single them out:
See your name here? Edit the page to remove it.:)
Special note to
BryanMontford: you've got my email address.
